Graphic design
Design in service of a click-through rate. I am not a brand identity designer and do not pretend to be. What I do is production design at volume, where the image has one job and you find out within a day whether it did it.

- Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, Canva

What this involves
Thumbnails
For YouTube and for course pages. Tested, not admired. The version that wins is often the one I liked least.
Ad creative
Static and video-still variants sized for feed, story and Reels, with the safe zones respected.
Covers and print
Book covers and inside layouts, including a physical product that had to survive a courier and look right on a phone at 200 pixels wide.
Systems
Templates and component files so a batch of twenty assets stays consistent and takes an afternoon, not a week.
How I go about it
The proof: twenty thumbnails, with their numbers

Twenty of the thumbnails I designed for the channel, with their view counts. The image has one job, and a day later the click-through rate says whether it did it.
